Learn Plant Morphology by Studying Stem Morphology

Understand how some plant species gain protection, and enhance their reproduction, through modifications of stem structure by using the specimens presented in this 8" x 12" Riker mount. A bulb, corm, and rhizome show stem modifications for reproduction, while stems with thorns, spines, tendrils, and “wings” show adaptations for protection and growth. All specimens are labeled.
