| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). ACP6, also known as Iysophosphatidic acid phosphatase type 6, hydrolyzes lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) containing a medium length fatty acid chain to the corresponding monoacylglycerol. Has highest activity with lysophosphatidic acid containing myristate (C14:0), monounsaturated oleate (C18:1) or palmitate (C16:0), and lower activity with C18:0 and C6:0 lysophosphatidic acid. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa33-428 from human ACP6, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~47.7kD (419aa) Enzyme Activity: Specific activity is >70units/mg, and is defined as the amount of enzyme that hydrolyzes p-nitrophenyl phosphate (pNPP) per minute at pH 5.0 and 37°C. Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. |
