| Product Name | ACP2, Recombinant, Human, aa31-380, His-Tag (Lysosomal Acid Phosphatase Isoform 1, LAP) |
| Description | Purity ~85% (SDS-PAGE). ACP2 is also known as Lysosomal acid phosphatase isoform 1. ACP2 is composed of two subunits, alpha and beta, and is chemically and genetically distinct from red cell acid phosphatase. it is a member of a family of distinct isoenzymes which hydrolyze orthophosphoric monoesters to alcohol and phosphate. Acid phosphatase deficiency is caused by mutations in the ACP2 (beta subunit) and ACP3 (alpha subunit) genes. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa31-380 from human ACP2, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~42.9kD (373aa) Enzyme Activity: Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein. Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. |
