| Description | CCND1 / Cyclin D1 Antibody (HRP) LS-C545464. Specificity: Cyclin D1 is a 36 kD nuclear protein. The cell cycle in eukaryotic cells is mediated by the formation, activation and deactivation of complexes containing Cyclin-Dependent Kinases (CDK) and cyclins. D-type cyclins usually associate with CDK4 (p34 PSK-J3 ); however, complexes with CDK2 and CDK5 have also been reported. D-type cyclins are necessary for cells to achieve the G1 to S transition in the cell cycle. The D-type cyclins have been shown to associate with PCNA, retinoblastoma gene product, p21 and other proteins. |
