| Description | Purified (~30%). Phosphodiesterase 7A, a cAMP-specific phosphodiesterase, has been shown to affect memory, T-cell functioning and emesis and has been implicated in depression. Two isoforms (PDE7A1 and PDE7A2) which differ at their N-terminal region, have been reported. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa147-482 from rat PDE7A, fused to GST-tag at N-terminal, expressed in Sf9 insect cells via a baculovirus expression system. Molecular Weight: ~65kD Specific Activity: ~354pmol/min/ug Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. |
