| Product Name | Adk, Recombinant, Mouse, aa1-361, His-Tag (Adenosine Kinase, Ak) |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). Adk, also known as Adenosine kinase, is an abundant enzyme in mammalian tissues that catalyzes the transfer of the gamma-phosphate from ATP to adenosine, thereby serving as a regulator of concentrations of both extracellular adenosine and intracellular adenine nucleotides. Adenosine kinase has widespread effects on the cardiovascular, nervous, respiratory, and immune systems and inhibitors of the enzyme could play an important pharmacological role in increasing intravascular adenosine concentrations and acting as anti-inflammatory agents. Recombinant mouse Adk, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-361 of mouse Adk, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~42.5kD (384aa), Confirmed by MALDI-TOF Endotoxin: <1EU/1ug (determined by LAL method) AA |
