Human Platelet Factor-4 (PF-4) is a 7.8kD protein containing 70aa which is structurally related to human IL-8 and GRO-α. PF-4 is a chemoattractant for human fibroblasts and certain other cells. Biological Activity: The maximal chemotactic activity of human PF-4 on human fibroblasts as assayed in a modified Boyden chamber was achieved at a concentration range of 1.0-10.0ng/ml.
