| Description | 3-Amino-9-Ethylcarbazole (AEC) is a chromogen for immunohistochemical staining of tissue and cell preparations. AEC produces a red precipitate that can be detected by light microscopy. This product is available in a ready-to-use single solution so that all mixing and waste is eliminated. This reagent produces a clean, very intense stain. Note: The AEC end product is soluble in organic solvents and must be used with an aqueous counterstain and mounting media. |
