Description | Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a relatively common neurodegenerative disorder, which is characterized by the loss of midbrain dopamine (DA) neurons and the presence of Lewy bodies, proteinaceous cytoplasmic inclusions that are abundantly enriched in ubiquitin. A number of potential substrates for parkin, which may be involved in the pathogenesis of PD have been identified. One of parkin's potential substrates is CDCrel1. Mutations in parkin impair its ability to regulate the turnover of CDCrel1. CDCrel1 belongs to a family of septin GTPases and may regulate synaptic vesicle release in the nervous system. Description: Serum. Synonyms: Polyclonal CDCrel1 antibody, Anti-CDCrel1 antibody, CDC-rel1 antibody. |
Immunogen | CDCrel1 antibody was raised in rabbit using a synthetic peptide corresponding to part of the C terminal of human CDCrel1 (RMQEMLQRMKQQMQDQ) as the immunogenSerum |
