NDGA acts as a non-selective lipoxygenase (LO) inhibitor (IC?? values are 3.0-5.0 uM for human platelet 12-LO and 0.91 uM for rabbit reticulocyte 15-LO). Also inhibits IGF-1 and c-erbB2/HER2/neu receptors and suppresses growth in breast cancer cells. |
