Shows selectivity over 46 other kinases including aurora kinase B and Cdk1. AZ 3146 overrides spindle assembly checkpoint and also interferes with chromosome alignment. It has shown to inhibit the recruitment of Mad1; 2 and centromere protein E (CENP-E) to kinetochores. |
