| Product Name | Annexin II, p11, Positive Control |
| Description | Purity ~90%. p11 is the light chain component of the Calpactin complex and a member of the S100 family of proteins that can form a heterotetramer. The functional complex is formed by the interaction of two heavy chains (annexin II) and two light chains (p11). It is important for many cellular processes, including Ca2+-dependent exocytosis, non-constitutive secretory pathways, and the correct trafficking vesicles as well as proteins out of the cell. Recently, p11 was shown to be the critical component involved in the plasma membrane translocation of NAV1.8, a subunit of the tetrodotoxin-resistant sodium channel found in sensory neurons.
