| Description | Neomycin Sulfate, 50mg/ml Solution is a convenient, ready to use concentrate which inhibits protein synthesis via ribosomal binding mechanism. Neomyscin Sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits translation by binding to the small subunit of prokaryotic ribosomes. It is an Inhibitor of phospholipase C due to binding to inositol phospholipids. Neomycin inhibits phosphatidylcholine-phospholipase D activity. It also blocks voltage sensitive Ca2+ channels without affecting Na+/Ca2+ antiporter in nerve cells. Prepared with deionized water in 0.9% saline. 0.2um sterile-filtered with validated membrane filters. |
