| Description | On SDS-PAGE commassie blue stained gel, the purified recombinant protein shows a single band at 43kD (including GST tag). IGF-1R (Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 Receptor) consists of alpha- and beta-subunits which are disulfide-linked in a beta-alpha-alpha-beta configuration in the mature receptor. The alpha-subunit is completely extracellular, while the beta-subunit spans the membrane and the intracellular portion has intrinsic tyrosine kinase activity. This recombinant human IGF-IR protein encodes amino acids 1213-1367. Protein Family: Belongs to the Tyr protein kinase family. Insulin Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA and Inhibition Assays. |
