| Description | The genesig® Kit for Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (EHDV) genomes is designed for the in vitro quantification of EHDV genomes. The kit is designed to have the broadest detection profile possible whilst remaining specific to the EHDV genome. The primers and probe sequences in this kit have 100% homology with a broad range of EHDV sequences based on a comprehensive bioinformatics analysis. The kit is based on the publication by William. C et.al. 2009 (J Vet Diagn Invest 21:220-225 (2009). The primers have 100% homology with all NS1 reference sequences included in the NCBI database and detect EHDV subtypes 1 to 8.
