| Product Name | I-TAC, Recombinant, Human |
| Description | Purity ~97% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). I-TAC (Interferon-inducible T-cell alpha chemoattractant), otherwise known as CXCL11, is a member of the CXC chemokine family, which signals through binding to CD183 (CXCR3), and is regulated by interferon gamma and beta. I-TAC is highly expressed by peripheral blood leukocytes, the pancreas and liver, and acts as a potent chemoattractant for IL-2 activated T cells, as well as a natural antagonist for CD195 (CCR5). Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human I-TAC, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 73aa, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~8.3kD (73aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human IL-2 activated T-Lymphocytes using a concentration range of 0.1-10ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 1x10e5IU/mg. Endotoxin: <1EU/mg (LAL) AA |
