| Description | Purified by delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by papain digestion and extensive dialysis. IEP Assay by immunoelectrophoresis shows a single precipitin arc against anti-sheep serum, anti-sheep IgG and anti-sheep IgG F(ab')2. No reaction was observed against anti-sheep IgG F(c) or anti-papain. Applications: Suitable for use as an antigen or ligand in immunochemical reactions, as a control or standard in assays, for conjugation and most other immunological methods requiring highly purified immunoglobulins. |
