| Description | Purity ~97% (HPLC). A cell-permeable amido-benzimidazolo compound that acts as a SAM (S-adenosyl-methionine) competitive, reversible and selective inhibitor of histone lysine/arginine methyltransferases (HKMTases/PRMTases) activity (IC50=1.1, 4.7uM, 6.0 and ≤10.0uM against SUV39H1(H320R) mutant, G9a, PRMT1 and SET7/9-mediated methylation of H3K9Me2, respectively). Only weakly impairs GLP-catalyzed H3K9Me3 methylation levels (IC50 <40uM). Affects wild-type and G9a deficient mESCs, MEFs and HeLa cell viability without altering their morphology at 15uM.
