DescriptionHighly purified. Control Peptide for C1340-01B (antiserum) and C1340-01A (affinity purified) 19-aa peptide from human NOD1. Corresponding antibody recognizes human CARD4, Nod1. No significant homology with ced-3/4, Apaf-1, NOD-2 or other proteins. Apoptosis is driven by two classes of specialized proteases known as caspases (Cysteine Aspartase). Several key factors are released from the mitochondria that regulate apoptosis.
