| Description | Biotin, BioAssay™ ELISA Kit is a competitive ELISA intended for the quantitative determination of Biotin in human and mouse serum and plasma. Detection Range: 12.5-200pg/ml Sensitivity: <4.986pg/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest Biotin concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations. Intra-assay Precision: %CV <8 Inter-assay Precision: %CV <10 Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of Biotin. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between biotin and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the direct competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique.
