Recombinant Human soluble TRAIL is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 168aa and having a molecular weight of 19.6kD. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined to be Arg-Glu-Arg-Gly-Pro. Contains less than 1% dimers and aggregates. Biological Activity: The activity is determined by the ability to induce apoptotic cell death in TRAIL-sensitive U343MG cells. ED50 for this effect is 1-3ng/ml. |
