| Description | Purity > 97% (RP-HPLC, SDS-PAGE). Recombinant Human soluble Trail also called TNF-related apoptosis-inducing Ligand, TNFSF10, Apo2 Ligand AND TL2 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 168 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 19.6kD. TRAIL is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Amino Acid Sequence: The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Arg-Glu-Arg-Gly-Pro. Biological Activity: Recombinant Human TRAIL is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The activity is determined by the ability to induce apoptotic cell death in TRAIL-sensetive U343MG cells, ED50 for this effect is 1-3 ng/ml. |
