| Description | Sample Type: Serum, plasma and tissue homogenates Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of mouse clusterin (CLU) concentrations in serum, plasma and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 0.39ng/ml Range: 1.56-100ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse CLU. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse CLU and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for CLU has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any CLU present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for CLU is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells.
