| Description | Antimicrobic for the selective isolation of Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli. Used for the supplementation of Campylobacter Blood Agar Base. This antimicrobic supplement provides for reduced growth of normal enteric bacteria and better growth and recovery of C. jejuni from fecal specimens. Presence of Amphotericin B in the supplement inhibits growth of fungi. Cephalothin inhibits the normal bacterial flora associated with fecal samples. |
