| Description | Sample Type: Serum, plasma and tissue homogenates Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of mouse platelet factor 4 (PF-4) concentrations in serum, plasma and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 1.603ng/ml Range: 3.125-200ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse PF-4. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse PF-4 and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for PF-4 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any PF-4 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for PF-4 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells.
