| Description | The Prostasin (PRSS8) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit (Human) is a quantitative sandwich assay for the detection of PRSS8 in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Cell lysates and tissue homogenates, though not tested, may potentially be used as samples. Detection Range: 1.563-100ng/ml Sensitivity: <0.938ng/ml Precision: Intra-Assay CV: <8% Inter-Assay CV: <10% Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to PRSS8. Standards and samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells followed by a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to PRSS8. Streptavidin conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain PRSS8, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated streptavidin complex will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulfuric acid solution and the color change |
