| Description | The Podoplanin (PDPN) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich assay for the detection of PDPN in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 0.16-10ng/ml Sensitivity: 0.1ng/ml Precision: Intra-Assay %CV: <10% Inter-Assay %CV: <10% Specificity: Recognizes human PDPN. No significant crossreactivity or interference between human PDPN and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to human PDPN. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells and incubated. Then a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to PDPN is added. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain PDPN, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will apear blue in color.
