| Description | Mouse L cells are infected with C. trachomatis elementary bodies. Optimally infected cells are harvested and disrupted by sonication in PBS. Cellular debris is removed using centrifugation. Applications: Suitable for use in both IgG and IgM detection in assays which include ELISA with polystyrene and latex solid phases and M capture formats. Sonicate immediately prior to use. Inactivation: Gamma radiation. Verified by inoculation of EBs on L cell monolayer. No growth were present. |
