Sensitivity: 0.516ng/ml Range: 0.938-60ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human gp130. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human gp130 and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for gp130 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any gp130 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for gp130 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells.
