Inhibits binding of BclXL to Bak (IC50 = 1.5 µM) or Bad proteins and stimulates apoptosis. Also block the human P2X7 receptor (inhibits the ATP-induced 86Rb+ efflux with an IC50 of 5.6 µM). Has a wide range of biological activities, including antiplatelet, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antitumour effects. |
