| Description | Purity ≥ 98% by RP-HPLC, FPLC, or reducing/non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stain. Chromatographically purified. Recombinant Human GRO-beta is a single,non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 73 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 7908 Dalton. Human GRO-beta is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Sequence : The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ala-Pro-Leu-Ala-Thr. Dimers and Aggregates: ≤ 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis. Biological Activity: GRO-beta is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The Biological activity is calculated by its ability to chemoattract CXCR2 transfected 293 cells using 10.0-100.0ng/ml. Endotoxin: ≤ 0.1ng/ug (IEU/ug) of Human GRO-beta. Protein Content: Protein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods: 1. UV spectroscopy at 280nm. 2.
