| Description | The Mouse Ghrelin (GHRL) ELISA Kit is a competitive inhibition immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of mouse GHRL in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 123.5-10,000pg/ml Sensitivity: 42.5pg/ml Test Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. A monoclonal antibody specific for mouse GHRL has been pre-coated onto a microplate. A competitive inhibition reaction occurs between biotin-labeled mouse GHRL and unlabeled mouse GHRL (standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific for mouse GHRL. After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is inversely proportional to the concentration of GHRL in the sample.
