Baricitinib is an orally bioavailable, reversible inhibitor of JAK1 and JAK2 (IC50 s = 5.9 and 5.7 nM, respectively) that has been shown to inhibit cytokine-induced phosphorylation of STAT3 in healthy human volunteers. It has potential application in various inflammatory disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis. |
