| Product Name | Oncomodulin BioAssay™ ELISA Kit (Human) |
| Description | Oncomodulin, also known as OCM, is an oncodevelopmental protein found in early embryonic cells in the placenta and also in tumors. The human gene for oncomodulin is located on chromosome 7. It is a parvalbumin- family calcium-binding protein expressed and secreted by macrophages that typically traffic to tissue as an inflammatory response or after injury. Oncomodulin promotes axon regeneration in retinal ganglion cells and maintains functioning in mouse cochlear hair cells. Sample Type: Cell lysates, cell culture supernates, serum, plasma (Heparin or EDTA). Intended Use: Sandwich High Sensitivity BioAssay™ ELISA kit for Quantitative Detection of Human Oncomodulin. Sensitivity: <10pg/ml Range: 31.2pg/ml-2000pg/ml Specificity: Recognizes natural and recombinant Human Oncomodulin. There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins. Test Principle: This Human Oncomodulin BioAssay™ ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune- sorbent assay technology. A s |
