| Description | Intended Use: Hepatitis B Virus Core Antibody, IgM, (HBcAb-IgM), BioAssay™ ELISA Kit (Human) is for the qualitative determination of human anti-hepatitis B virus core antibody IgM (HBcAb-IgM) concentrations in serum and plasma. This kit is intended for research use only and may not be used for therapeutic or diagnostic applications. Principle of the Test: The Hepatitis B Virus Core Antibody, IgM, (HBcAb-IgM), BioAssay™ ELISA Kit employs the qualitative enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with anti-human IgM. Samples are pipetted into the wells with antigen conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP). Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of human HBcAb-IgM bound in the initial step.
