| Description | Purity ≥ 99% (SDS-PAGE). Lymphocyte activation gene 3 (LAG-3) plays an important role in negatively regulating T cell proliferation, function and homeostasis. It is required for maximal natural and induced regulatory T cell (Treg) function. LAG-3 is closely related to the T cell co-receptor CD4 and binds to MHC class II molecules but with a significantly higher affinity than CD4. Sequence: The sequence coding for the 4 extracellular Ig-like domains of human LAG-3 (D1-D4) is fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1. Endotoxin (LAL): ≤0.1EU/ug Biological Activity: Inhibits binding of MAb to LAG-3 (human) to LAG-3. Induces maturation of human dendritic cells. |
