It has been successfully used in Western blot and immunofluorescence procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects a ~33.8 kD protein representing Synaptophysin in rat, mouse and bovine brain tissue as well as sheep retinas. This sequence is conserved in many species including human, mouse and bovine. |
