| Description | Recognizes human IgG4 (kappa and lambda light chain). Fc region specific. No crossreactivty was found against IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, IgM, IgA and IgD. Determined by hemagglutination of sheep red blood cells coated with purified human myeloma immunoglobulin, using chromic chloride. A positive reaction occurred with cells coated with IgG (Fc portion), polyclonal IgG and IgG4 (kappa or lambda light chain). Negative reaction occurred with cells coated with IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, free kappa or lambda, IgM, IgA1 (lambda), IgA2 (kappa) and IgD (lambda). |
