Product Name | Endostatin ELISA |
Description | The Endostatin ELISA is a highly sensitive two-site enzyme linked immunoassay (ELISA) for measuring Endostatin in biological samples of Humans. Endostatin, a 20-kDa C-terminal proteolytic fragment of collagen XVIII, is an endogenous angiogenesis inhibitor localized in the vascular basement membrane in various organs. The biological functions of the endostatin-network involve SPARC, thrombospondin-1, glycosaminoglycans, collagens, and integrins. Research has shown endostatin is upregulated during tissue fibrosis following microvascular injuries. Increased endostatin levels are possibly the consequence of enhanced extracellular matrix degradation. The Endostatin ELISA is for Research Use Only. For more information on the Endostatin ELISA, call 800-592-5726. Sample Types: Human citrate plasma, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, serum. Sample Size: 10 µL. Range: 0 - 80 nmol/L.
