| Description | A synthetic peptide that irreversibly inhibits caspase-5 and related caspase activity. The inhibitor is designed as a methyl ester to facilitate cell permeability. Ready-to-use caspase inhibitors that are synthesized using a patent-protected method. These inhibitors are cell-permeable and nontoxic. For cell cultures, the 2mM caspase inhibitors can be used at 1000X dilutions (e.g., Add 1ul to 1ml of culture medium). For in vivo injections, 10mM caspase inhibitors are provided. Caspase Inhibitor Sets in the ready-to-use format are also available, providing researchers with more convenient tools for studying multiple apoptosis-inhibiting processes. We recommend using 1000X dilutions for inhibiting caspase-3 activity in Jurkat cell culture (e.g., Add 1ul to 1ml of culture medium).
