| Description | Recognizes human Thrombospondin 1. Reacts with 140kD and 120kD fragments in digest of Ca2+-replete TSP which are absent from digest in EDTA. Its binding to TSP is enhanced by EDTA i.e. at low [Ca2+]. Does not crossreact with fibronectin, fibrinogen, TSP-2 and von Willebrand factor. Species Crossreactivity: mouse, rat, bovine, porcine, equine, canine and sheep. |
