| Description | The human peptide sequence is found in all major APP isoforms (APP695, APP751 and APP770). It is 100% conserved in human, g. porcine, porcine, sheep, rabbit and chicken. There is just 1 aa change in mouse and rat APP proteins. Antibody crossreactivity in various species is not established. Control peptide, because of its low MW (<3kD), is not suitable for Western. It should be used for ELISA or antibody blocking to confirm antibody specificity |
