| Product Name | NCEH1, Recombinant, Human, aa1-275, His-Tag (Neutral Cholesterol Ester Hydrolase 1, AADACL1, NCEH) |
| Description | Purity ~90% (SDS-PAGE). Neutral cholesterol ester hydrolase 1, also known as NCEH1, hydrolyzes 2-acetyl monoalkylglycerol ether, the penultimate precursor of the pathway for de novo synthesis of platelet-activating factor. It may be responsible for cholesterol ester hydrolysis in macrophages, thereby contributing to the development of atherosclerosis. Also NCEH1 is involved in organ detoxification by hydrolyzing exogenous organophosphorus compounds. This protein may contribute to cancer pathogenesis by promoting tumor cell migration. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human NCEH1, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E.coli.
