| Description | ImmunoTek Plus™ Blue Stop Reagent, Solid (650nm) This is a proprietary dry blend mixture used to stop the one-component TMB and other TMB formulation (3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine) reactions by changing the chromogen into the first oxidation state of TMB and form a blue reaction product read ~650nm. Product Use: This product is used to terminate TMB Microwell substrate reactions at the blue oxidation state (650nm). Add specified volume (100ml to 1L) of purified water and allow ~5 to 10 minutes to dissolve. Mix occasionally. Equal volumes of substrate and terminator solution should be used. When TMB peroxidase substrate solution (3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine) is reacted with peroxidase, a reaction ensues producing a blue colored liquid product (oxidized state). The reaction can be terminated using proprietary Blue Stop Reagent specifically designed for TMB substrates, resulting in a soluble blue reaction product. The colored product is stable for at least two hours. |
