| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE gel, HPLC). Fibroblast Growth Factor-10 (FGF10) is a heparin binding growth factor that belongs to the FGF family. Proteins of this family play a central role during prenatal development and postnatal growth and regeneration of a variety of tissues, by promoting cellular proliferation and differentiation. FGF10 is most related to KGF/FGF-7 and is expressed during development and preferentially in adult lungs. It signals through FGFR2b. Biological Activity: Determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF receptors. The expected ED50 is 2x10e6units/mg.
