Human MDC is highly expressed in macrophages and in monocyte-derived dendritic cells but not monocytes. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human Macrophage-Derived Chemokine, a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 69aa, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~8.1kD (69aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human T cells using a concentration range of 10-100ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 1x10e4IU/mg.
