| Product Name | 8-Oxoguanine DNA Glycosylase, Human, Control Peptide (OGG1) |
| Description | Human 8-Oxoguanine DNA Glycosylase (hOGG1) is involved in the excision of 7, 8-dihydro-8-oxoguanine produced as a result of DNA damage. This gene has been localized on human chromosome 3p25. Several forms of hOGG protein have been cloned differing in lengths (351-424 aa) (1). Source: An 18aa peptide close to the N-terminus of human OGG1 was selected for antibody production (1, 2). Sequence Homology: The peptide sequence has 100% homology with various forms of human OGG (1, 2). It has sequence homology of 55% (10/18aa) with the mouse and only 38% (7/18aa) with rat OGG (3). Applications: ELISA: Use 50-100ng control peptide/well |
