| Description | Purified (~60%). ALOX15 converts arachidonic acid to 15S-hydroperoxyeicosatetraenoic acid. The protein also acts on C-12 of arachidonate as well as on linoleic acid. Recombinant corresponding to aa2-662 from human ALOX-15, fused to FLAG-tag at N-terminal, expressed in Sf9 insect cells via a baculovirus expression system. Molecular Weight: ~75kD Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. |
