| Description | Human MEC also known as CCL28 is a newly discovered CC chemokine. MEC is a chemotactic for resting CD4, CD8 T-cells, eosinophils and binds to CCR10. Recombinant Human MEC is a 12.3kD protein containing 108 amino acid residues. Stability: The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at -20°C. Reconstituted Human MEC should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Purity: ≥ 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses Endotoxin: ≤ 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug) Reconstitution: We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or at -20°C for future use. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human lymphocytes using a concentration range of 1.0-10.0ng/ml.
