| Description | Purity ~98% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). Interferon gamma inducible protein (IP-10), also known as CXCL 10, is an ~8.5kD chemokine which is expressed in a variety of murine tissues including liver, kidney, gut, thymus and spleen in response to interferon gamma. IP-10 acts as a chemoattractant for monocytes, NK cells and certain T-cells. It is thought NK cells have an anti-tumour effect for several types of cancer and may play a role in the repair and regeneration of hepatic tissue.
